About Us

Timpanogos Baptist Church Started in 1996, and is affiliated with the ten Conservative Baptist Churches of Utah and more than 1200 churches of the Conservative Baptists of America.

Our pastor Chuck Lovelady said at the time that “In starting Timpanogos Baptist Church, we seek to provide a loving, forgiving, and Bible-centered environment which points people to Jesus Christ, the only Source of eternal life and peace.”

Pastor Chuck and his wife Danita are both from Oregon. Chuck graduated from Oregon State University in 1986 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, and in 1990 earned his Master of Divinity degree from Western Seminary in Portland. Danita graduated from Biola University in 1981 and is a registered nurse. They were married in 1990 and have four children: Nathaniel, Bethany, Benjamin, and Natalie.
